Dr Nonhlanhla Ngcobo has been appointed as the Director of Library Services at the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN). Her appointment took effect from 1 January 2022.
Dr Ngcobo has progressed from subject to campus librarian at UKZN, and from Manager, Library Services, to Acting Director. Throughout her career, she has been instrumental in a number of innovations in the UKZN network of libraries.
She obtained her Master’s degree in in LIS in 2009 and a PhD in 2017.
