CHELSA congratulates Siphethile Gcukumana, who has assumed the role of Manager of the CSIR’s Knowledge Management and Information Services from 1 May.
She replaces Madelein van Heerden, who, after many years in the library and information sector, will be taking early retirement.
Ms Gcukumana holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Pretoria and has extensive experience in library and information services and the CSIR in particular. Having worked in various service areas within the sector, since 2017, she has been Manager: CSIR Information Specialist.
